Cartagena or Cartagena de Indias is a city and a world heritage site on Colombia's Caribbean coast in the Bolívar. Founded by the Spanish in 1533, the impressive buildings from the Spanish time today make up a UNESCO World Heritage site. Or, you can hang out at one of the nearby sand beaches. Cartagena is the Colombian city most visited by tourists.
