1. Using the site

KarismaTrip is free to use and requires no account, on the web and in the Android app alike. You may read it, link to it, and use the planner and calculators for your own trip planning, personal or commercial.

You must not:

• scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for others, or attempt to circumvent rate limits or caching;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its infrastructure;
• republish substantial portions as your own work, or in a way that misrepresents the original sources;
• use the site for anything unlawful.

If you want bulk access to the underlying data, go to the original sources listed on the about page. They are open, and they are better served by you using them directly.

2. The Android app

These terms cover the KarismaTrip Android app as well as this website. Where they say “the site”, read “the site and the app”.

The app is free, requires no account, and is distributed through Google Play. Google’s own terms govern the distribution itself; ours govern what the app does. Installing it grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use it — not to decompile it, republish it, or distribute a modified build under our name or marks.

The app can build a plan with no connection. When it does, it says so on the plan, and the figures that depend on live sources — weather, exchange rates, entry requirements — are absent rather than shown from an earlier session. Do not treat an offline plan as current on those points.

3. Your trips and your data

Saved trips, budgets and packing lists are stored in your own browser and are never sent to us. We do not hold them, cannot read them, and cannot restore them — clearing your browser data deletes them, and they do not follow you to another device. Export or print anything you would be sorry to lose.

A share link contains the trip settings you entered, encoded in the URL itself. Nothing is stored on our side when you create one, and anyone holding the link can open the trip — so treat it as public.

4. Automated planning

The trip planner generates itineraries and cost estimates automatically. Output is a suggestion, not a recommendation, not a booking, and not professional travel advice, and we do not warrant that any of it is suitable for your circumstances.

If we later introduce features that use an AI model to phrase or organise this content, the same limits will apply and the site will say where it is being used. Volatile facts — visa rules, weather, exchange rates, government requirements — will continue to come from the named sources on the about page rather than from a model, and anything we cannot verify will be shown as unverified rather than filled in. 5. Content and licences

Most of what you read here belongs to someone else, and their licence travels with it. Reusing it means honouring their terms, not ours:

• Destination guides are adapted from Wikivoyage under CC BY-SA 4.0. If you reuse that text you must attribute it and share your derivative under the same licence.
• Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database Licence.
• Government guidance on visas, entry requirements and consular help is reproduced from the UK FCDO under the Open Government Licence.
• Country and city data comes from Natural Earth (public domain) and GeoNames (CC BY 4.0).
• Linked articles on the Reading page remain the property of their publishers. We show a headline, a short excerpt and a link; all rights stay with them.

Our own contributions — the design, the code, the calculators and the text we wrote — are ours. Please ask before reproducing them.

Takedown

If you own content you believe is used here improperly, including a publisher who would rather their feed were not aggregated, write to hasnainzeb.se@gmail.com and we will remove it. We will not argue the point.

6. No warranty

The site is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that it is accurate, complete, current or available, and it depends on external services that can change or fail without notice.

This matters most for safety and visa information. Read the disclaimer before relying on anything here.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content, including travel disruption, refused entry, financial loss or missed arrangements.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, this does not affect your statutory rights.

8. External links

We link to government sites, publishers and source projects. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

9. Our brand

The KarismaTrip name, wordmark and logo are ours. The licences covering the content on this site do not extend to them, and nothing here grants permission to use them to identify your own product, service or site, or in any way suggesting we endorse or are affiliated with you.

Fair uses — referring to us by name, reporting on us, linking to us — are unaffected. Guidance on correct use of the mark is available on request.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change when we do, and continuing to use the site after that means accepting the revised version.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes fall to the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the protections of your local law.
