Travel advisories and safety
This site does not publish travel advisory levels or risk ratings. Safety guidance changes quickly, is worded differently by every government, and matters too much to read second-hand. For current safety advice, go to your own government’s travel advice service.
The country guidance we do reproduce — entry requirements and how to get consular help — comes from the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office under the Open Government Licence, with a link to the original on every page. It is cached and refreshed periodically, so what you see may be several hours behind the FCDO.
Visas and entry requirements
Entry rules depend on your nationality, your route, your purpose of travel, the length of your stay and often on which passport you hold when several apply. The information here is drawn from UK FCDO guidance and is written primarily for British travellers. It may be wrong for you.
Exchange rates and costs
Exchange rates are European Central Bank reference rates, published once each working day. They are indicative mid-market figures, useful for planning a budget. They are not the rate you will be offeredby a bank, card issuer or bureau de change, which typically differ by 2–5% and may add fees on top.
Nothing on this site is financial advice.
Planning estimates
Every cost figure produced by the trip planner, the budget calculator and the per-country calculators is an estimate, and is labelled as one wherever it appears. Estimates are modelled from regional cost tiers that we maintain by hand — accommodation, food, local transport, activities, a data SIM, a typical visa fee and a contingency.
They are explicitly not quotes, live prices, or availability checks. We do not query any hotel, airline or booking system, and no figure here has been confirmed against real inventory. What you are actually charged will differ, sometimes considerably, with season, demand, party size and how far ahead you book. Treat a total as a starting point for your own research, and edit the assumptions — every line shows the arithmetic behind it precisely so that you can.
Airfares are modelled from great-circle distance and a fitted fare curve, not from any airline’s pricing. The trip planner excludes flights altogether and says so, because it knows the country you are departing from but not the airport.
Automated and AI-assisted planning
The trip planner assembles itineraries automatically. It is important to understand what that does and does not mean.
The planner commits to two things: real places, drawn from our own city dataset, and a shape for each day, themed to what you asked for. It deliberately does not name specific restaurants, hotels, attractions, opening hours or ticket prices — we hold no verified, licensed source for those, and generating them would mean inventing them. An itinerary that confidently sends you to a café that closed two years ago is the failure this site exists to avoid.
Volatile facts attached to a plan — the weather, the exchange rate, entry requirements — are retrieved from the sources named elsewhere on this page, and each is shown with its source and the time it was last checked. Where a source could not be reached, the plan says so rather than filling the gap. Anything the planner could not establish is listed on the plan itself under what it does not tell you.
A generated itinerary is a suggestion, not a recommendation, and not professional travel advice. Check opening times, seasonal closures, local conditions and the safety of any activity before relying on it.
Health and medical information
Any health-related content — vaccination reminders, water safety, air quality readings — is general information only. It is not medical advice. Speak to a doctor or a travel health clinic about vaccinations, medication and any condition affecting your travel. Some vaccinations need weeks of lead time.
Guide content
Destination guides are adapted from Wikivoyage under CC BY-SA 4.0. Wikivoyage is community-written, which makes it unusually candid — and means opening hours, prices and whether a place still exists may be out of date. Verify anything you are relying on.
Listings are not endorsements. We have not visited, inspected, verified or been paid by any venue mentioned.
Maps and locations
Map data comes from OpenStreetMap contributors under the ODbL. Coordinates are approximate city centres, not precise addresses. Do not use this site for navigation, and never for emergency routing.
Third-party content and links
The Readingpage links to articles published by independent travel publications. We do not write, edit, endorse or control that content, and linking to an article is not agreement with it. Following any external link takes you to a site governed by someone else’s terms and privacy policy.
Availability and accuracy
This site depends on external services that can fail or change without notice. When one does, we show the last known good data with a “cached” label, or nothing at all. We do not guarantee that the site is available, complete, accurate or current, and we do not promise that it will stay that way.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, KarismaTripis provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any loss, cost, disruption, injury or damage arising from your use of this site or from reliance on anything published here.
Nothing in this disclaimer limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Corrections
Travel information goes out of date — prices change, visa rules change, restaurants close. If something here is wrong, or you think a disclaimer is missing where one is needed, write to hasnainzeb.se@gmail.com and we will correct it or remove it.
For guide text specifically, a correction is often best made at Wikivoyage directly, where it benefits everyone using that data rather than only this site.
